Password Reset Self Service Guide

Refer to the following sections for assistance with resetting your password:

  1. Campus Pipeline/Blackboard
  2. Student Email
  3. Staff/Faculty Email

Campus Pipeline/Blackboard

Note: Campus Pipeline and Blackboard use the same username and password. 

For HPU Pipeline: Make sure that you are using your accurate user name and password.

  • Click on the "Forgot your username or password?" link and fill out the form, following the instructions on screen

Student Email: Gmail

Note: The following instructions pertain to only student email accounts

For Gmail: Make sure that you are using your accurate user name and password.  To reset:

  • Login to Pipeline 
  • Navigate to the Tech Support Tab 

  • Scroll down to the HPU Network and Gmail Account Control Panel

  • Fill out the reset form and hit submit 
  • Note that resetting your network password will change your WiFi, VDI login, as well as your Gmail password.

Staff/Faculty Email: Outlook

Note: The following instructions pertain to only staff/faculty email accounts

For Staff/Faculty Email:  Make sure that you are using your accurate user name and password.  To reset:

  • Contact the Computing Services Helpdesk at (808) 566-2411 or click here
  • Click here and fill out the form, with hpu.edu as the domain. When changing the password, it needs to contain at least 8 alpha-numeric characters with at least one symbol/special character "!@#$%^&*()" and at least one Capital letter and at least one number.  Once the password has changed, it can take 2-3 hours for the change to reflect on all of our systems.
  • While logged into a HPU computer or into VMWare, press ctrl + alt + delete and select "Change a password" and fill out the form 

 

Banner

For Staff/Faculty Banner:  Make sure that you are using your accurate user name and password.  To reset:

  • Login to Pipeline and click on "Employee Main Menu"
  • Click on "Banner Password Reset"
  • Fill out the form and hit "submit" 
  • If that doesn't work, then contact the Computing Services Helpdesk at (808) 566-2411 or click here

Note: Temporary staff will not be able to use the Banner Password Reset self-service feature.  If you are temporary staff, please click here to request for service.
