CAN'T CONNECT TO VDI?

If attempting to connect from outside of the HPU network utilizing the Horizon View Client please ensure that the current version of that software is as new as possible. Ensure that the most current Horizon Client download is the one selected, and then follow the steps in the installer to upgrade/add Horizon Client to personal computer.Unable to 

MY VDI IS NOT RESPONDING, HOW DO I RESET IT?

In the case where your Desktop Standard or Desktop Pro VDI freezes and you no longer are able to log back in, you can reset your VDI and force a hard restart.

To perform this on a Samsung
After logging in with your HPU credentials, select your Desktop and click on RESET VM.

To perform this on a Vmware View Client
After logging in with your HPU credentials, right click on your Desktop and select RESET DESKTOP.

Please allow 5 - 10 minutes for this process to complete. During this time, you will not be able to login to your VDI.

Virtual Desktop Will Not Recognize my USB/Flash Drive/External Hard Drive
 
Attempt removal and re-installation of USB device ensuring that the connector is fully placed within the port.
